“Ah, it’s 5:50, let’s start to head back to the beginning town and log out.”
“…okay.”
We traversed back across the grass field, avoiding other parties and mobs. After all, PvP or anything else that takes time is currently unnecessary.
Running speed isn’t really that fast, in game. Although it can be considered much faster than reality, the map is just too big and teleportation only works from towns or portals. Instant transfer items also exist, but they are all very expensive.
“Alright, we’re back!”
“Yup. ‘Kay, Shino-chan, I’ll see you tomorrow at school.”
After saying that, her body disappeared into blue particles. I, too, enter the menu and select the logout button.
The screen turns black as the console returns to the title screen, then to the home screen.
Ah, my body feel much heavier and the sensation of the controller returns to my hands.
Coming back to my senses, I directly oush the power button of the DC and slip the console off my head.
Orange sunlight flows through my still open window, illuminating my otherwise dark room.
…I guess I should clean up the packaging, then help make dinner.
Tonight’s dinner is chicken parmesan over pasta, with fresh bread and a salad.
“Shizu-chan, call Ai-chan for dinner.”
“Okay.”
Dinner passed uneventfully and afterwards, dish washing was pushed onto Onee-chan, while I retreated upstairs to work on my homework. Ugh. I’ve got Pre-Calc, English, and Japanese homework. Then, I need to finish a science project and study history.
Yeah, as appealing as it is, I won’t be getting to play anymore IO tonight.
